Sir David Attenborough, Professor Richard Dawkins, the British Humanist Association and the think tank Ekklesia are amongst the signatories of a new statement promoting the teaching of evolution, not creationism in schools. The joint statement which can be found at www.evolutionnotcreationism.org.uk asserts that the government should implement 'enforceable statutory guidance that they [intelligent design and creationism] may not be presented as scientific theories in any publicly-funded school of whatever type.' It goes on to call for the teaching of evolution to 'be included at both primary and secondary levels in the National Curriculum and in all schools.'
An article in the Daily Mail says that women who have abortions are at risk of severe mental health problems, according to a study. The research found that those who undergo abortion face nearly double the risk of mental health difficulties compared with others and that one in ten of all mental health problems was a result of abortion. Recently I've been having waves of fear and anxiety attacks that have been lasting for days on end.
I find myself thinking "I don't want to feel like this but I can't seem to shake these thoughts and feelings."
I mean seriously who wants to live a life full of crippling fear and anxiety? Not me!

We feel constantly challenged in lots of areas and have a heart for seeing restoration in people's lives and for us not to get too comfortable, though, I think if it was up to Mark we would be in a village in a mud hut somewhere... he thrived on outreach!

Love After Marriage (LAM) is a marriage course like no other, which we ourselves have had the privilege of doing... The course is not so much pastoral in nature, but rather apostolic meaning that it is about creating a culture where marriages thrive. We believe God is wanting for there to be a revival of relationships meaning relationships, including marriages, which reflect Heaven's heart and model for them.
