Bethel Glory Cloud...

You may have been aware that towards the end of last year a ‘glory cloud’ appeared on a number of occasions in The Sanctuary at Bethel Church, Redding California whilst Sunday services were taking place.  I have noted that such an occurrence draws out many different responses.  Some respond with total belief that it’s from God and a sign pointing to someone greater.  Others respond with total unbelief and hostility. And then there are others who just have lots of questions!  To read full article and see photographs and DVD evidence go to the NGAGE website . . .

Adrian's baptism in snow!

Yesterday was a first in Immanuel Community history – a baptism whilst snow lay on the ground!  Since we have no built-in baptistery, when someone asks to be baptised we use an inflatable baptistery, which resembles an extra-deep paddling pool.

The weather was mild for the time of year when Adrian Blythe asked to be baptised.  When the snow fell the night before the event, he was not to be deterred.  So it was that the community met together for a time of worship at which Adrian shared his testimony with us.  He has experienced the love and power of God in his life and when challenged to say ‘yes’ to Jesus and commit his life to him, he responded with a resounding ‘yes.’  His baptism was his public demonstration of dying to his old life and rising to his new life in Jesus.

Everyone stood around in the snow while Adrian confessed his faith in God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – then he was briefly submerged in the cold water by his house church leaders, Peter and Sarah.

Baby's life saved!

Abortion protestors prosecuted - the very day the same action saves the life of a 22-week-old baby.  Two Christian pro-life campaigners faced the start of prosecution proceedings on Monday for holding signs showing the effects of abortion on the unborn and refusing to take them down. The very same day, the pair's colleagues protested in the same way outside an abortion clinic - and their actions saved the life of a 22-week-old baby.

Love After Marriage

Friday 11th April 2014

Love After Marriage (LAM) is a marriage course like no other, which we ourselves have had the privilege of doing... The course is not so much pastoral in nature, but rather apostolic meaning that it is about creating a culture where marriages thrive. We believe God is wanting for there to be a revival of relationships meaning relationships, including marriages, which reflect Heaven's heart and model for them.
